Responsible Trusting Without Prejudice (RTWP) is a collaborative research project on epistemic trust and responsibility supported by the Royal Society of Edinburgh through its Research Awards Programme.

The project brings together traditional epistemologists, social epistemologists, Wittgenstein scholars, and more to investigate the conditions for responsible inquiry in the current age of misinformation, echo chambers, conspiracy theories, and declining trust in expertise. A crucial part of this work would be to distinguish, in a principled manner, forms of trust that may be deemed responsible from those that are to count as manifesting prejudice.
